Inspect the generated sizes
PNG and ICO files are raster exports of your source, not new vector masters. A small raster cannot gain detail when enlarged, so oversized exports are skipped unless you explicitly allow enlargement. Prefer an outlined SVG or a large original; an SVG source also gives you favicon.svg.
A wide wordmark shrinks to a thin strip at 16 px. Use a square symbol for favicons where you have one, or choose a square crop. Maskable icons keep the artwork inside the central 80% circle that Android and installed web apps may crop to. Edit the manifest name, colours and start URL for your site. A manifest by itself does not make a site installable.

Which favicon and app icon files are generated?
favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px), favicon-16/32/48.png, a 180 px apple-touch-icon.png, 192 and 512 px PWA icons, 192 and 512 px maskable icons, a flattened 1024 px app-icon PNG, site.webmanifest with theme and background colours, a README with the HTML for your page head and, when the source is an SVG, a sanitized favicon.svg. Everything is packed in one ZIP.
Is my logo uploaded to SimilarLogo?
No. The artwork is decoded, rendered and zipped by scripts running in this browser tab. The generator makes no upload request, and clearing or closing the page discards the files.
Should an app icon already have rounded corners?
No. iOS and Android apply their own masks. Supply a square, opaque icon: the Apple touch icon, maskable icons and the 1024 px source here are always opaque, and the maskable icons keep the artwork inside the central safe circle so a circular or rounded mask does not cut it off.
Does the 1024 pixel PNG replace Apple Icon Composer?
No. It is a flattened raster you can use as a source in design tools or store listings. Layered or platform-specific app icons still need to be prepared in the platform’s own tools.
