About the archive
About SimilarLogo
SimilarLogo is an independent reference archive of brand logos. Each brand record shows the artwork the archive holds, where it came from when that is recorded, which files exist and what is known about the mark’s history. The archive also offers a visual look-alike search. It is not affiliated with the brands it lists.
850 brand recordsSource-review status shown on each brand page
What is checked, and what is not
Each record carries its own evidence. Many imported records are still marked Source review pending; treat those as unreviewed.
Recorded and checked
- Registered files carry a SHA-256 checksum, and SVG artwork drawn on a page is sanitized so it cannot run scripts.
- Community and press-kit files pass a technical format check before publication. That is not a malware certification.
- Publisher originals and generated renditions are labelled separately.
- A source URL and publisher conditions are shown when they have been recorded.
- A record counts as source-reviewed only when an editor has recorded a source and a review. Imports, press-kit automation, account submissions and AI-assisted checks do not count.
Not verified unless the record says so
- Designer and agency credits.
- Adoption dates. Archive year labels are not adoption dates.
- Colours. Swatches are approximate samples taken from the archived artwork, and most were rounded, so they can differ from a brand’s published values. They are not print specifications; brand pages show no Pantone or CMYK values.
- Typeface names and classifications.
- Trademark ownership, registration or permission to use a logo.
Methods and limitations explains each check in detail.
Where records come from
- Earlier archive. Many records were imported from SimilarLogo’s earlier logo archive. They keep their import label until an editor reviews a source.
- Publisher press kits. Some artwork is collected from brands’ own press or media pages, only from approved sources, with the source and its conditions recorded.
- Community submissions. Uploaded files are held in private quarantine and validated. Staff review the source and rights before anything is published.
- Brand representatives. A company can manage its record after staff review evidence that it represents the brand. Its own artwork is labelled as self-submitted, not independently reviewed.
Look-alike search is a ranking, not a legal opinion
The look-alike search orders archived logos by visual features (DINOv2 and SigLIP2 image embeddings, checked against shape and geometry). A rank is retrieval order. It is not a probability, a risk score or a finding that two marks conflict, and the archive is not a trademark register.
Before adopting or challenging a mark, search an official register:
- WIPO Global Brand Database (international and many national registers, including image search)
- USPTO trademark search (United States)
- Department of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (DPDT) (Bangladesh)
Using logos from the archive
All trademarks, service marks, trade names and logos shown on SimilarLogo belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from the owner.
Logos are shown to identify the brands they belong to, for reference, research and commentary. Whether a particular use is lawful depends on where and how you use it. Downloading a file does not grant a copyright or trademark licence. Check the rights holder’s brand guidelines and ask for permission where it is needed.

Corrections, claims and removal requests
- Something is wrong. Use the report link on the brand or logo-version page, or find the record from the report form. It opens a private case for staff review. Keep the private case code to read the decision or appeal it.
- You hold the rights. Use the same form and choose “Rights-holder request”. Staff review the evidence before restricting a record or its files. There is no automatic takedown, and no response deadline is promised.
- You represent the brand. Claim the brand or company record with a company account, or a designer profile with a designer account. Staff inspect the evidence before any access is granted.
- Anything else. Use the contact form or write to hello@similarlogo.com.
