Bank Asia PLC is a private commercial bank in Bangladesh, launched in 1999 by a group of entrepreneurs. It acquired the Dhaka business of the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Bangladesh operations of Muslim Commercial Bank of Pakistan.

The bank provides retail, corporate, Islamic and offshore banking, and it runs an agent banking network that serves customers in rural areas. [1] [2]
