Banglalink is a Bangladesh telecommunications brand operated by Banglalink Digital Communications Limited. The current identity differs from the older tiger-stripe design.

The company began as Sheba Telecom, which had provided GSM mobile services in Bangladesh since 1998. Orascom Telecom bought all of Sheba Telecom’s shares in 2004 and started operating under the new brand name Banglalink.

Sheba Telecom (Pvt) Limited changed its name to Orascom Telecom Bangladesh Limited in 2008, and in July 2013 the company was renamed Banglalink Digital Communications Limited. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of VEON. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
