Rights, Corrections and Takedown Policy

Effective August 23, 2026

1. Purpose and scope

SimilarLogo helps people inspect, compare and understand brand assets. A listing, similarity result or historical reference does not state that SimilarLogo owns a third-party mark, that the brand endorses SimilarLogo, or that an asset is safe for every use. This policy covers requests concerning copyright, trademark, attribution, ownership, source, accuracy, privacy and public display.

2. Send a complete notice

Email the contact address below with the subject Rights notice. Please include:

Do not send passwords, wallet secrets, private keys or unnecessary identity documents. We may request narrowly tailored additional evidence when authority or ownership is unclear.

3. Review and interim protection

We acknowledge actionable notices when operationally possible, preserve an audit record and assess the identified material in context. While a credible request is reviewed, SimilarLogo may restrict display, retrieval or download without treating that temporary action as a final legal conclusion.

We may contact the contributor, source or affected organization for evidence. We will prioritize requests involving exposed personal information, impersonation, fraud, unsafe files or a clear lack of display authority.

4. Outcomes and restoration

Depending on the evidence, SimilarLogo may correct metadata, add source or status context, replace a file, limit a feature, maintain a restriction, remove material or restore it. A person affected by a restriction may request reconsideration with evidence showing authorization, lawful source, factual accuracy or another relevant basis.

Authorization records and revocations are handled fail-closed. Missing, expired, invalid or revoked permission does not become approval merely because an asset previously appeared on the service.

5. Abuse and repeat concerns

We may reject notices that are materially incomplete, deceptive, automated without review, unrelated to the cited URLs or intended to suppress legitimate factual discussion. Repeated substantiated problems may lead to broader restrictions on a source or account. Nothing in this policy limits emergency reporting to an appropriate authority or any rights available under applicable law.

6. SimilarLogo first-party assets

The SimilarLogo Provenance Seal v1 is an original SimilarLogo interface asset used to communicate provenance and review status. Publication of the seal does not grant permission to use third-party brand assets, imply certification of an unrelated party, or override an asset-specific authorization record.
